With 3 days of kitsurfing, the rains of early January are starting to become a distant memory. The hotel guests that are here are hoping that they can finally start their kiteboading vacation with what they came for – kitesurfing!
Today is another great day, as the wind came on early out of the North East. The weather forecast shows rain, but there is not a cloud in the sky. The kiteboarding conditions could not be more perfect, with the waves, wind and sun all contributing to a perfect day.
The Kite lounge is really starting to pick up it’s pace, as we have many students learning to kiteboard at this point in time. And with Kiwi Dan in the mix, it looks like we are about to be popular in the sailing scene as most of the boats parked in Antigua have crews looking to learn to kitesurf, and Dan the man will send them all our way. It’s the perfect sport for the ‘yachties’, as often when it’s too windy to sail it’s perfect conditions to kiteboard.
The Funky carp beach front restaurant is continuing it’s live music success, and has already booked another band to come down for early January. The sunset live music kiteboarding sets will continue, as they are growing in popularity with both the locals and the guests.
Another great day here at extreme Cabarete, and another reason why this is the ultimate kiteboarding holiday
