Extreme is not for everyone - but it's perfect for me. I return every year to Robbie, Vicky, Patricia, Jeremy, Ping the pup and Matilda the cat. I just love... read more it here. It's an eco hotel so don't expect anything fancy - no A/C, bed turndowns, chocolate on the pillows, etc. But you don't need any of that as the breeze from the ocean cools you down as you sit on your balcony listening to the lull of the waves.
Situated on Kite Beach, it's a 20 min walk into Cabarete on the beach or 5 min by bike taxi. The beach is quite but when the wind starts, the kites come out and it's just crazy.
You can just chill here but the whole point of Extreme and Kite Beach are the activities. Trapeze with Gregory, the gym with Jeremy who will get you in shape in no time, yoga overlooking the beach, kite surfing, surfing, paddleboarding ... so much to do.
The restaurant is amazing. They make a killer mojito and El presidente is always cold.
