I booked a yoga and ariels package here in January 2020. The hotel staff were very responsive when I had questions and queries. The hotel, yoga loft, aerials school... read more and restaurant are all owned by different people but they work together to try to create a comprehensive retreat service. It works fairly well. Check in was fairly simple, they gave me a key and a lanyard (that I could keep!) and showed me how everything works. There's a locked gate to the rooms but I felt very safe the entire time. I had a trapeze view room. My room was very basic, the best part about it was the giant water cooler. Seeing as this is an eco-friendly, on occasion things don't work as smoothly such as when I was there we lost water a few times. I have heard people say the rooms are very noisy, but if it's windy or rainy, it's almost impossible for the hotel to control. I was not near the road so I did not experience any road noise. I really enjoyed the breakfast they offered in the mornings, probably my best meal of the day. The grounds were very nice, I never went into the pool (why would you when the beach is right there!) but it looked pretty inviting. This is not really a hotel meant for relaxation, it's more of a base for people while they are being active (kite surfing, yoga, fitness, etc). The staff was excellent here, including the owner. Very visible and interested in how your stay is going. You can't really beat the location, it's an ocean front hotel that is reasonably priced - just don't expect luxury. More

This was such a wonderful “come as you are” facility. I felt like I was at home! The staff is kind and always checking in. They eat with you, they... read more help plan fun excursions around the area. They want you to feel welcome and nourished on this beautiful beach! I would highly recommend for affordability, the delicious well-prepared food (made with love and care!), the great yoga classes offered to the public, and the spacious rooms.
