El Choco National Park Hike at an Affordable Price

Come hiking with us!

Join us on Monday mornings for a guided hike through El Choco National Park and surrounding areas from the Mountains to the Cabarete Coast. Transportation brings the group to the back entrance of the National Park Via the El Choco Road. From there we pass by some local residence and farmland before entering the forest canopy. Along the way there is opportunity to sample some natural vegetation and jungle fruit enjoyed by locals. After two to three hours of moderate hiking, mostly down hill, with some uneven terrain, we arrive back in Cabarete, where you can climb down into caves and swim in natural underground fresh water reservoirs. Included in the trip is a snack and fresh coconut water.

For the trip please be prepared with sun protection, good foot wear (that will get dirty), lots of water, and a flashlight for some added spelunking adventures in the Cabarete Caves.

The hike is every Monday morning. We meet at the Extreme Hotel pool at 8:15 am, and depart at 8:30.
