I went March Break for a week. As I have to travel then I was expecting business but I found myself chillin and blissed out! The hotel is right on... read more the beach, about a 20 min walk to town. I appreciate the distance from town to keep it quiet. You can hear the road a bit. Rooms are simple and clean, an eco hotel. You have everything you need and you will not spend your time in your room. The property felt secure and the rooms had an iron gate as well. (Way more secure than places I have been to in Mexico.) Vicky will answer all your questions right from the get go and do your bookings when you are there. I was a solo women traveler and had no problem meeting people. You eat dinner together after yoga and Vicki introduces you. (Although you could be on your own if you wanted.) The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. You ordered your breakfast the day before. You also get a different fresh smoothie daily. I alternated between surfing and trapeze followed by an evening yoga class every day. My yoga instructor Moraima was great, she would incorporate your requests into the class. I love her moon salutation. Evening yoga was a slow flow with restorative poses. Her hands on adjustments feel awesome. I loved the health and fitness vibe. I would totally recommend this hotel and I plan on bringing the family back!

Three friends and I stayed at Extreme this past July and we had a great experience! What you see is what you get with these guys. The room... read more was clean and though it was hot, the provided fan made it just fine for sleeping. All the wind from the Kite Beach meant that we saw no bugs and were able to find many places on the property to hang out during the day that were nice and cool. The smoothies and breakfasts are wonderful and the women who prepare them are very nice and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was also really good and there was a good variety. Victoria was a wonderful hostess and she did a great job setting up our surfing lessons and making sure that everything went smoothly. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. The yoga teachers were great too! I would definitely come back here. The surfing was perfect for beginners. The town itself really gives you a taste of Dominican life and the folks who live there were amazingly friendly and helpful as well. As women we all felt safe as we traveled to and from town both walking and by taxi/moto. This vacation will go down as one of the best! More
