Extreme Hotels Cabarete is a 22 room boutique environmentally friendly hotel in the center of all the action. This is where everyone chooses their Cabarete Accomodation to kiteboard, surf, workout or hangout from, when given the choice. We have been host to numerous action sports movies, most of the big name pros, multiple international competitions, countless photo shoots, many of the best parties and all of the fun.  We are a destination unto ourselves and a kiteboarding vacation like no other.

Our Cabarete Accomodation rooms are big, airy and private.  They are geared towards the action sports enthusiast, and are right on the best part of kite beach. Each hotel room has an en suite bathroom and a balcony with a partial ocean view.   The wind blows through the rooms and you go to sleep with the sound of the ocean waves gently falling against the beach.

This is not a 4 star hotel. We describe the Extreme Cabarete hotel’ as ’surfer chic’ eco lodge.  It is clean and safe Cabarete Accomodation, surrounded by million dollar condos.  There are no little bars of soap in your room, and you won’t find flowers waiting for your arrival. We will however buy you a drink at the bar, and you will have a great time.

We have the Caribbean’s only underground half pipe, 6 feet under, which doubles as the training pit for Mixed Martial Arts Champion Papo.  Private training and classes are available to all.

The Yoga loft is an ideal place for Yoga workouts or meditation, overlooking the ocean while you practice your yoga poses.  Be sure to book your workout in advance, as space is limited.

The Funky Carp is the most popular restaurant on Kite Beach, and ‘the’ place to eat and hang out.  Fantastic meals, live music, friendly staff make for a great combination.

The spinning classes offer another fantastic workout option, on the latest in group cycling bicycles, real riders.  You had better book in advance, because classes are often full.

Out front is the surf break, 6 feet over. Our bar is actually a distillery, and happy hour is the best deal on the island. The pool is inviting and refreshing. The restaurant offers tapas and energy food between kiting sessions. The Distillery provides front row seats to watching all the action on kite beach, or in the ramp.
