Raining but WIND

We woke up here on kite beach this morning with a ton of rain.  But along with a good rain, come WIND.  And here at eXtreme Cabarete, no one is afraid of getting a little wet.

This is a one Cabarete accommodation that loves to play in the water, no matter what the conditions.  So bring on the rain, just be sure to send us some wind with it.

As the coffee was brewing in the beach front bar,  the eXtreme Cabarete crew suited up in wetsuitst – a rarely for this place – so that they could enjoy the surf and wind in mild safety.  Wetsuits actually help you float for those who’ don’t know.  With no one out on Kite Beach, it’s good to take a few precautions when the wind is blowing 25K plus and you’re only a few out there.  We also prepared the jetski, so that we can stay a step ahead of safetly.

Fortunatly the safety precautions worked, as no one needed help.  It was only the eXtreme Cabarete crew kiteboarding along kite beach and taking some big air, as they threw their kites for some huge kiteloops .   For those who were tough enough to brave the elements, it was a fantastic kiteboarding session.

The day is not over yet, so let’s see if any other kiteboarders from the other kite beach Cabarete accommodations come and brave the elements with us.
