Adventure Sports

With so many sports, activities and things to do there is really never a dull moment in Cabarete. Here is just a sample of some of the fun things you can get up to while you’re visiting us. Read on where there are links, but if you have any questions or want to add any of these activities to your stay with us, please inform us after you’ve booked your room; or speak to the receptionist upon arrival.

Kitesurfing

Cabarete is a world-class kiteboarding destination – we clock more than 300 days a year of kite-able wind. Our on-site kitesurfing school The Kite Lounge offers kitesurfing lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced kiters, as well as downwinder tours and multi-day kite safaris. Check our our Kitesurfing page to learn more.

Surfing

Surfing in Cabarete and on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic is perfect for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers alike. While Cabarete is better known for it’s consistent wind, the wind mostly picks up in the afternoon, making the morning excellent for daily surf sessions. There are several breaks where you can find long, powerful ramp-like waves for long boarders or fast tubular waves for short boarders – all with warm water year round, so you’ll never have to step into a wetsuit while you’re on holiday with us. Check our our Surfing page to learn more.

Circus

Our circus is the only circus school open to the public in the Dominican Republic. All of our instructors were trained and internationally certified by 25 year Wringling Bros veteran Paul Rudd, and most of them have been teaching circus arts for more than 5 years. We are proud to have a nearly 100% Dominican staff, all of whom are bilingual in English and Spanish, with several speaking French or German as well.Check our our Circus page to learn more.
